I replaced the 50 most common words with the Thundercats theme. Was going to make an announcement so there wouldn't have been such a big of shock, but when I tried to test the filter many times it didn't work on my end. Why bother announce something that didn't work? Why delete hard work that won't do any harm? OH WAIT. WHAT IF IT MAGICALLY WORKS THE NEXT MORNING. NAH CAN'T HAPPEN THAT'S STUPID I DON'T NEED TO CHECK. |

Oh. ... The filter is malevolent. It tricked GT into thinking it didn't work so it could mess up Stair`s post! |

I knew the worst it could of done was screw up somebody to post in Escapades. Then again I was going to give more warning. Stair, do what I do and when typing a long post, always save it beforehand onto your computer before sending it in case something goes wrong like computer freezing suddenly or the great cat invasion averts your attention by destroying your house. In the long run it helps alot. |

Oh. I made a post and it was filtered... some of the words came out as "Thunder or "duh". GT reveals he made the filter but it didn't seem to work so he didn't announce it. Kio reveals that admins aren't affected by filters. ...Oh, and you can go look at my post in "Ask GT" if you want an example of what it did. Edited by CTSucks, May 22 2009, 12:48 PM.

CT sat confused at his desk. After typing out a post of multiple paragraphs, they showed up as complete gibberish, "GT, duh thunder tThunderctThundercthetstsgree wThunderth SttThunderctThundercthetstsThunderr thtThunderctThundercthetstst Thunder'm tThunderctThundercthetsts ftThunderctThundercthetstsnboy?" he read aloud. "Great scott, my post has been destroyed!" he shouted. He quickly dashed over to Collision Chaos to ask about the predicament. "Why?" demanded CT. "Why has my post been turned into Thunder gibberish?" he demanded. Kiorein leaned back in his chair and laughed, "I have no idea!" he informed CT. "I do not know what happened!" Stair muttered a complaint, but he soon took it back with a remark, "Oh wait, it's gone," GT stepped in with his cunning grin. "You see, gentlemen, I had added a word filter to the forum," he started. "I replaced the 50 most common words with the Thundercats theme, you see. However, when I went to test its functionality, I learned that it did not seem to work! I planned on announcing this filter, but to my dismay,there was no reason to do so. I didn't bother removing the filter, either, because it seemed to be doing no harm as it seemed to fail to function. However, suddenly, as you people post, the filter now works!" "The filter is malevolent!!" Shouted CT. "It tricked Stair into posting a thread which was destroyed by the filter!" Srol watched in confusion. "I don't understand!" Kiorein laughed loudly at the commotion. "Ah, but the filter doesn't affect Admins. So while it seemed to randomly function later, it was functioning the whole time, you couldn't see it!" |
