Ugh, it's to late to type right now, so I'm just gonna post the concept are and the little descriptions I had in the chat. I'll edit in the full stories later. :falcone>;|:

Coney the Space Pimp
Posted Image
It's a Sci-Fi spastic action comedy with roots in urban
culture.

Secrets of Arcana(working title)
Posted Image
Rival gangs trying to take control of a drug that imbues psychic powers on the user. Noir.

Lords of Orichalkos
Posted Image
Just straight up shonen. Two rival factions of "kenetics"
fight over the artifacts that gave them their powers. Each has total control over an element, down
to the atomic level. Lots of physics based techno-bable in this one.

All of them seem like they'd fit.

Since, you know, animes cover a wide variety of weird, fanciful and even seemingly mundance subjects.

Plus they all seem like they'd involve combat and action... and those are things I loooove.

Oy oy oy. Time for the first synopsis. Mind that the sketches I'm posting with this are ancient. My style's changed a bit and so have some of the story elements since then, but they help flesh things out.

Coney the Space Pimp.

The story starts in a non-distinct Northeastern suburb. Conifer "Coney" Stevens and his friend and co-conspirator Xavier Maxwell are chilling at Coney's place. Playing video games and generally being weaboos. A hum outside the window prompts the two to check what the commotion was about. Outside the the silhouette of a small space ship land in the empty lot down the street. As the duo heads up the road, the two aliens abscond from there ship, into the distance. Coney and Xavier look the ship and find in the ships cargo compartment (it's a small ship, the smaller than a minivan) two power suits. They decide to haul the ship back to Coney's. In his garage they give it a much closer inspection, finding an instruction manual... in Portuguese. That turning into a total loss, they decide to send their attention to the suits. After putting them on, they discuss what any two otakus in possession of alien power suits would discuss: becoming super heroes! Over the next month, in between sessions of gaming and failing to get the attention of the redhead who works at the Smacky Burger down the road (where the two aliens from the ship now work) they flesh out their super identities. Coney and Xavier are no more. They are now... Coney the Space Pimp and Pimp X! With suits pimped out and a CB radio duct taped onto the ship's console, Coney and Xavier embark on what they think will be their first act of superhero-ry. The second the ship is turn on, it goes into homing mode and bursts into overdrive, heading to an unknown coordinate in space, despite the Space Pimps' attempts to persuade it otherwise.
Finally, they arrive in orbit of a metropolis planet. After an extremely bumpy landing in a space ship parking garage, the Pimps get a chance to get their bearings. With the cash cards they found in the ship, their first stop is the space equivalent of a Smacky Burger: Zordaon's. Sadly, mid-meal, they are attacked by and extremely limber woman with a gun, sword, and skimpy outfit. She is Chardonnay, a Space Ho under hire of Daddy Galaxy. She's not actually a prostitute, but a bounty hunter, working for Galaxy in a system ala Charlie's Angels. Here bounty is actually the two aliens we left back at Smacky Burger on Earth. They'll serve as extra comic relief in the comic, which will check on them from time to time. After a struggle, during which SP and X figure out some of their suit's powers, they convince Chardonnay that they aren't her bounty.

Over a few drinks at the now wrecked Zordaon's, she tells the Pimps her story. She's been trying to get away from Daddy Galaxy, but of course, he wouldn't take to kindly to that. She asks the duo to help her, and so their adventure starts. During their escapades escaping/defeating Galaxy's various guns-for-hire, they met up with Sine, the obligatory grease monkey, techno geek, and little guy.

Some bad guy's are in development. Here are a few.

We got Slurpes (Slur-pees) and Monkehrea (Monkey-ria), an Indian stereotype Slushie cup and his testicle-nun chuck swinging, ninja monkey partner.

Huge Bitch, a Godzilla-esque behemoth in gawdy makeup and fishnets.

The Abominable Crack Fiend. He's a skinny jittery little guy who can become a huge powdery golem, with a bit of convincing (and rock)

Aight, the other synopses will come later.

They are actually Cane Sabers. They are annoying to draw, so I didn't. Coney's has a peacock head with an afro as his handle. X had a dragon with dreds, but I may change that. The lightsabery stuff comes outta the head's mouths. They tilt back and it "fwooms" out. Kinda like a light saber halberd.

Pimp in dress, not in occupation, just like the Space Ho's. Real pimps are far to sedentary to be interesting. On another note, the Arcana synopsis is gonna be awhile. A bit of research into opium is needed. Trust me, it's important.

Cool! (Pimp X looks evil enough to be an actual pimp, though. @_@)

Can't wait for these comics to get made...

...btw, are you going to put these on a website or what?
