Gt ask for some tips on spriting and heres where I'm gonna put them.

The first thing I do is take a step I took from a guy known as BWDYeti is start with getting some basic proportions down in a count of pixels.

The tutorial I got this procedure from was for making Fire Emblem sprites so Yeti used the actual height of a person found the height of a character already made in the Fire Emblem style and made a ratio of centimeters to pixels. Thats a bit too much for me, I just use something a bit different.

Usually a person's height said to be around 7.5 to 8 times the height of their own head, but since sprites are small and the face needs to be a prominent part of the sprite but still have a good sized body in order to not have that "chibi" look. It seems that games tend to have they're sprites height be a little more than 4 times the height of the head.

(Look, its is kio and Kiyo!)
