Okay let's do this thing Fish out of Water by Chris Squire Produced by Yes's Bassist this album surprisingly isn't some "multi-timbre alley of rapists" as Srol would describe but instead takes a strong jazz rock approach abandoning the Prog rock jamming yes had made Squire famous for. The band is a supergroup consisting of musicians from various other projects. The core is Glen Phillips of Toad the Wet Sprocket, Sean and Sara Watkins of Nickel Creek, Benmont Tench of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, and Pete Thomas who plays drums for Elvis Costello. They've only had one album so far (self titled), and if I had to describe it, I'd say it's upbeat folk-rock with a tinge of country. One thing I think is neat is all of the people in the band switch off on singing duties, so you get very different feels to the songs depending on who's singing. Some highlights off of that album.
