The Escapades of Kiorein and Pals!TM Recap. Keep in mind that this is a Comedy roleplay and you should definitely read some of the episodes to get a feel for not only the comedy but also the characterization. This is for those of who either don't want to read one of the wordier episodes or simply are confused and need clarification. This should NOT replace reading up on the roleplay itself. Episode 1: It Figures... Kiorein, who has just become rich, meets a bunch of odd people. Instant is attempting to get his P'zone and in their escapades, Kiorein's house is destroyed. He went to architect school and rebuilt it. Episode 2: Enter Zaph Our heroes meet Zaph, the scientist. They're introduced to his character creation machine. Painting uses the machine to create the first villain ever, Klepto. Episode 3: Some Klepto Trouble Klepto ends up rampaging through the city, stealing many things. He even ends up destroying the P'zone factory. This leads to some trouble. Episode 4: Food Troubles Without P'zones to eat, our heroes resort to trying to take P'zones from people off the street. Naruuk is their sole target. Episode 5: It's Super Effective! Everyone heads back to Kio's. No significant events happen. Episode 6: Wishes and Shysters Mofir, the magical wish-granting chao, appears and everyone begins to try to gain his favor, as in a week he will grant whoever he chooses a wish. Meanwhile, Kiorein receives a letter to send his DNA to the questionable Clone-o Corp. Enolc seems to reassure Kio, and he complies and sends a strand of his hair to he company. Mofir passively states that he could use a kumquat, prompting everyone to rush off to the kumquat store. After a short skirmish, they encounter Honest Kio, the result of the cloning experiment. After a short time, Honest Kio manages to get all of Kiorein's money by tricking him. After a battle of wits, Mofir is eventually able to get the money back. But at what cost...? Episode 7: Chaonapped! A mysterious figure kidnaps Mofir while the gang is out eating Pizza Hut. After hours of futile searching, the perpetrator is found to be a magikoopa! He tells our heroes (wait... are they even heroes?) to go find the six Chao Emotion Balls so that the wish could be granted. With a conveniently created Chao Emotion Ball Finder made by Zaph right before this announcement, they're on their way to locate these illustrious spheres. After a series of spectacular adventures, our heroes have recovered the six chao emotion balls. They met Reginold Baxterly, visited Clone-o Corp, had a quick glance at the shady Honest Kio's Honestaquarium and even learned to believe in themselves! It was a full, rich day. Episode 8: Instant Can't Count. The hunt is on! With the chao balls in hand, they must now find the Magikoopa and get Mofir back from him. After a brief battle with this airship, they're off to the Magikoopa Palace. What traps will await them there? IN PROGRESS Episode 9: Submarine Adventure After the evil GT wished away all the P'zones, our heroes head into space to find an outer space Pizza Hut. After a bit of... trouble, they manage to reach their goal and head home. Then everything is back to "normal." (THIS WILL TAKE PLACE EVEN THOUGH WE'RE SKIPPING IT FOR SEASON 2. GT JUST NEEDS TO POST.) RUNNING GAGS: 1/2) Everyone loves P'zones. If you don't, that's an important character aspect. 1) Destruction of Kio's house is normal and expected. 2) Zaph is hated/attacked. 3) Cooker is hated but tolerated. 4) Characters often die and come back moments later with no explanation as to how this happened. Though, we try to cut back on often deaths and hasty returns. 5) Demmit can replace Dammit, and Dem can replace Damn. Edited by Kiorein, Jan 11 2009, 03:00 PM.
